Facebook is a simple (and free) tool you can use to get in front of potential customers. It may seem most time efficient to simply tie you business blog into your personal Facebook page and post some updates related to your business on Facebook.
I strongly recommend you keep your business separate from your personal Facebook pages.
Facebook frowns on you “doing business” via a personal webpage. Instead take a few minutes and create a Facebook Fan Page dedicated to your business. When you create a fan page you can easily promote your newsletter, blog, and services without the risk of being banned from Facebook.
Checkout my Facebook Fan Page and look at the “Welcome!” tab. I used the Static FBML Application to create a custom page. You can too! (Please take a moment to “like” my fan page while you are there – thank you!)
All the best,
Lisa Nelson
