Did you read “Increase Your Income Online: How to Sell Your Health Services Virtually”?
There is a reason I set the steps up in a certain order and I know if may be confusing to some of you why I recommend establishing your list management system before getting a webhost. Let me explain the reason.
If you do not have a way to collect the names and emails of your website visitors from day 1 of making your website “live” you are missing out on prospective clients.
It’s very rare for an individual to make a purchase the first time they visit a website. They have to get to “know, like, and trust you” before they pull out their credit card. You develop this relationship through email communications to follow up with them. This may be a newsletter you publish on a regular basis or an autoresponder series. The only way to stay in touch with them is to ask them for their email address. Hence the need for an opt-in box on your website and a list management service to keep all these names/emails straight.
Decide on your list management service, then grab your webhost (takes minutes), and then put together your site layout incorporating the opt-in box.
All the best,
Lisa Nelson
